Warranty Policies
All products, unless otherwise noted, include a warranty either provided
directly by the manufacturer or through Sound Installation, Inc. Depending on the manufacturer and the defect, the product
may be repaired or replaced. The customer is responsible for return shipping on merchandise to and from our
company or the manufacturer. |
Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned are not granted warranty
coverage. There is no charge for repairing products covered by warranty apart from shipping costs.
Sound Installaton, Inc shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or
removal and reinstallation charges associated with defective product. Sound Installation, Inc is not responsible for
shipping to and from our company or manufacturer.
Manufacturer's warranties are covered in full by the manufacturer
for the period listed within the product manual. Product's may be sent to the nearest manufacturer service
center for repairs to be completed.
Warranty periods depend on the specific manufacturer and product.
Due to the level of difficulty for stereo and amplifier installations, stereo and amplifiers may only be warranted if installed
professionally. Proof of installation is required for warranty claims.
The Manufacturer warranty is voided
on any product in which specific serial tags/numbers, receiving numbers, product stickers, or seals (the manufacturer or our
warranty seals) have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is also void due to user abuse, misuse,
defacing, and improper operation or installation.
The warranty
covers only manufacturer defects for products. The warranty does not cover:
Misuse,
abuse, or improper installation / operation. Subwoofers and speakers are not warranted against being
"blown or burned". Subwoofers and speakers will not be warranted against any of the following damages: Burnt
voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) Punctured
or damaged surrounds. Broken speaker terminals Bent, chipped or broken frames
Ripped spiders or damaged back plates. Sound Installation, Inc shall not be held liable for incidental
loss of use, installation or removal and reinstallation charges associated with defective or returned product.
Subwoofers and speakers submitted with any of the above issues will be considered out of warranty and returned at the customer's
expense.
Product must be returned in the original undamaged package with your proof of purchase.
Warranty is for original purchaser only.
Professional installation receipt documentation is required
for all dead on arrival claims. Claims must be submitted within 7 days to be eligible for a replacement.
RETURNS:
Return Policy Refunds are not issued. Store policy
is store credit/exchange only, on unopened items with receipt. There is no cash or credit refunds. A 20% restocking fee will
be applied to exchanges. An unopened item may be exchanged for a period of 30 days from delivery. Shipping fees are
non-refundable and are not included in exchange or refund credit. All returns, exchanges and warranted merchandise require
an RMA# (return merchandise authorization) number issued by our Warranty Department. You can find a form on the warranty page. There will be absolutely no exchange on any item that has been
opened, used, and/or shows signs of abuse or wear including the packaging of the item.
Returns require a
(RMA#) RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION or the package will be refused. Fill in the form below to obtain a RA#.
